Payments, Cancellation & Refunds
BARAKAT BUILDERS LLC · Texas, United States · Draft published October 28, 2026
Overview
Project payments, deposits, full-payment discounts and milestone schedules must be specified in a written project agreement and invoice. A displayed payment option is not confirmation that live online payment processing is available.
Service details
Where the law provides a cancellation or cooling-off right, that right controls. In some covered in-home or off-premises sales, federal or state law may provide a three-business-day cancellation right and require specific notices. A general 72-hour policy does not override those rights.
Legal protections
For cancellations not subject to a mandatory full-refund right, any deductions must be supported by the project agreement and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include properly documented completed work, committed services and non-returnable custom materials. We do not impose an automatic forfeiture of every payment after 72 hours.
Process and responsibilities
If work has not started and no authorized non-recoverable costs have been incurred, any refund is determined by the signed project terms and applicable law. Request cancellation in writing using the communication channel specified in your project agreement. Refund timing and method will be confirmed in writing.
Additional terms
Full-payment discounts apply only when explicitly stated on an accepted estimate and invoice. Changes to scope, price or timing require written approval. No payment is due solely because a website account was created.
